Product Series & Specifications
The three sight glass series below are organized according to the supplied technical drawings. Each series uses the dimension letters shown on its corresponding drawing, allowing buyers to compare connection size, body dimensions and overall length directly with the specification table.
Design & Function
- Designed for liquid lines in refrigeration and air-conditioning systems to provide a clear visual indication of refrigerant flow.
- The sight glass can also be used to observe moisture condition in the refrigerant and, in suitable applications, the flow condition of lubricating oil in an oil-separator return line.
- Depending on the series, the sight window uses a compression or separable construction with tempered glass and PTFE or O-ring sealing components.
- The separable design allows the sight-glass assembly to be removed for service or maintenance on applicable models.
- For welded models, high-frequency welding concentrates heat in a small weld area, helping reduce the heat-affected zone and produce a more uniform weld surface.
Moisture Indication & Working Conditions
- Moisture-indicating models use a color indicator: green indicates no dangerous moisture condition, while yellow indicates excessive moisture content in the refrigeration system.
- Applicable refrigerants: R22, R134a, R404A, R407C, R410A and R507C.
- Applicable medium temperature: -40°C to +80°C.
- Applicable ambient temperature: -30°C to +80°C.
- Maximum working pressure: 4.2 MPa.
Construction details and operating characteristics may vary by series. Please select the required model using the dimensional tables below and confirm the connection type and application conditions when requesting a quotation.
