PE100 HDPE electrofusion reducer, also called an electrofusion reducing coupling, for joining PE pipes with different outside diameters. Available in SDR11 / PN16 and selected SDR17 / PN10 sizes for water supply, irrigation and industrial PE piping systems.

Overview
The HDPE electrofusion reducer provides a welded transition between two PE pipes of different outside diameters. Embedded resistance wire heats the fitting during the welding cycle, producing a permanent PE-to-PE joint when correct pipe preparation and welding parameters are followed.

Applications & Installation
Typical Applications
Water supply networks, irrigation systems, industrial PE pipelines, water treatment installations and pipeline sections requiring a welded reduction from a larger PE pipe to a smaller diameter.
Installation
Cut both pipes square, scrape the oxidation layer across the full insertion areas, clean the prepared surfaces, insert and clamp the pipes without stress, then complete the electrofusion welding cycle according to the fitting data and observe the specified cooling time.
