The electrofusion reducing tee provides a welded branch connection where the branch pipe diameter is smaller than the main line. The embedded heating element creates a permanent PE-to-PE joint when correct pipe preparation, alignment and welding parameters are followed.

Electrofusion Preparation
Cut the pipes square, scrape the oxidation layer over the full insertion areas, clean the prepared surfaces, align and clamp the joint without stress, then weld according to the fitting barcode or specified welding data. Allow full cooling before removing clamps or applying load.
